St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club Seeking Enthusiastic Sailing Instructor for Summer Program
St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced sailor to lead our Summer Sailing Program! We are searching for an instructor who can develop an engaging, structured two-week course designed to introduce young sailors to the art of sailing while fostering confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the water.
Our program will run up to four two-week sessions throughout the summer, offering students the opportunity to develop and refine their skills over multiple days. Each day will include two daily classes tailored to different age groups: 6-12 years old and 13-18 years old . The instructor will also have the support of talented student sailors from the Bay High Sailing Team , ensuring a dynamic and hands-on learning environment.
Ideal candidates should be able to create a well-rounded curriculum that balances on-the-water training with essential sailing theory, safety protocols, and fun challenges to keep students engaged. Whether working with beginners or more advanced sailors, the goal is to make each session an exciting and memorable experience!
