Job Overview

Competitive pay, flex hours, part-time! We are looking to hire Music Instructors who can teach one or more of the following: Drums, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin and/or Viola! The ideal candidate will have a background in music education and previous experience in teaching music. This role involves teaching from an established curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
• Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble
• Assist at school events

Requirements/Skills

• Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, theory, techniques relevant to their instrument(s) and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
• Be able to teach from music lessons books
• Previous music teaching experience
• Playing 2+ instruments very desirable
• Ability to pass a background check
• Part-time, some weekend day availability required
