Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Position Summary: The Florida Office of the Attorney General is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated, and analytical minded team member to investigate matters assigned to the Cyber Fraud team. Located within the Consumer Protection Division in Tampa, the selected candidate will investigate cyber fraud and related matters for civil enforcement and will advise and assist on referrals to Florida Department of Law Enforcement and other agencies. This position will develop partnerships with other agencies relating to cyber fraud crimes and civil violations, establish lines of communication with local, state, and federal law enforcement and other enforcement agencies, and may serve on federal and state task forces as appropriate.
This position requires prior end-to-end cyber fraud investigative and complex fraud experience. Interested candidates are required to be self-starters with the ability to think critically and strategically when handling investigations, seeing beyond the initial facts presented and reviewing information thoroughly and in a highly organized manner to drive an investigation to conclusion. Ideal applicants will have the ability to operate independently, manage multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines, and exhibit a sense of urgency when necessary.
Pay: $56,000 - $64,890 Annually commensurate with experience
