Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking an Assembler to join our team. The role involves unbundling wires and components/connectors, kitting, standing at a billboard to place and connect wires, forming wire harness assemblies, and conducting electrical tests. You will also be responsible for taping wires together.
Responsibilities - Unbundle wires and components/connectors for kitting.
- Place wires on a billboard and connect them together.
- Form assemblies of wire harnesses and conduct electrical tests.
- Tape wires together.
- Perform general production and assembly tasks using hand tools.
Essential Skills - General production and assembly skills.
- Experience with hand tools.
- Ability to perform manufacturing and general labor tasks.
- Basic math skills (adding and subtracting).
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to navigate a tablet, open files, and read emails.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Pass a mechanical test (given during the interview).

Work Environment Our company is an ISO-certified electronics part supplier specializing in building wire harnesses for electronic use. We supply to notable customers such as Schneider Electric and Caterpillar. The facility is heated in the winter but can get hot during the summer months. The 1st shift runs from 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime on Fridays. The dress code includes a t-shirt and pants (no holes, rips, or tears) and closed-toed shoes.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
