Summer Program – Transition Coach for Rising Kindergarteners | Part Time

Compensation & Pay Range:

$4,044.09 (prior to taxes & deductions, divided over 160 hours across our 7-8 weeks summer program) = $25.27/hr.

Transition Coaches Providers are required to pay transition coaches 100% of the salary funded by DECAL. The salary rates reflect the gross amount, which is an individual’s total earnings before any taxes or deductions. Actual compensation may vary based on the number of days and hours worked

This position operates out of two locations:

• 3370 Cherokee Street Kennesaw, GA
• 4677 Paper Mill Road SE Marietta, GA

Teacher Responsibilities :

Additional Responsibilities Specific to Transition Coach for Rising Kindergarteners:

• Transition coaches will work 7-8 weeks or 160 hours per classroom (each classroom is funded for a part time position) to allow time for recruiting, program set-up, family workshops, family engagement activities and program closeout. Work hours should be flexible and will vary based on the best times to provide family engagement activities as determined by parent surveys.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18-years-old.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
• MUST have reliable transportation as travel between two centers is required for this position

Additional Requirements Specific to Transition Coach for Rising Kindergarteners:

• Transition coaches MUST have a minimum of an associates degree and experience working with families of young children.
