In transfer pricing at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes.

The Opportunity

As a Transfer Pricing Associate, you will engage in dynamic client support, focusing on the intricate world of transfer pricing within the Tax Services group. You will be involved in analyzing financial statements, reviewing legal documents, and developing financial models to provide strategic insights and solutions for multinational companies. As an Associate, you will contribute to client engagements and projects while honing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, learn to manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

Responsibilities

- Conducting financial statement analysis to assess business health and performance
- Engaging in tax research to provide accurate and up-to-date information on tax laws and regulations
- Supporting the preparation and filing of consolidated tax returns for multiple affiliated companies
- Assisting in the development and documentation of transfer pricing policies in line with OECD guidelines
- Participating in the review of legal documents to identify relevant information for tax compliance
- Collaborating with teams to address Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) concerns
- Utilizing financial modeling to represent the performance of financial assets or portfolios
- Analyzing international taxation regulations to avoid double taxation and comply with global tax treaties
- Contributing to the structuring of corporate transactions to optimize financial operations
- Assisting in the resolution of tax disputes through negotiation and mediation techniques
- Engaging in economic translation to support financial reporting and market analysis
- Developing skills in tax auditing to verify accurate reporting and payment of taxes
- Supporting transaction services by facilitating business transactions and financial due diligence
- Building knowledge in business tax regulations to manage tax liabilities effectively
- Enhancing understanding of macroeconomic principles to inform strategic financial decisions

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.

What Sets You Apart

- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
