A Test & Evaluation Engineer job is available with our client in Manassas, VA. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with Common Weapons Launcher (CWL) and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator (MTWS) engineers to conduct testing and integration. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field and a minimum of 2 years or job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Crafting comprehensive test procedures.
* Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
* Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
* Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
* Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps.
* Supporting informal and formal test events, as well as other customer-driven test activities.
* Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities.
* Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field and a minimum of 2 years or job-related experience or a Master"s Degree.
* Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
* Must have experience with one of the following skills: the AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems.
* Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and commands.
* Navy or Submarine experience is a valuable asset.
* Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
