Technical Product Owner

Optomi, in partnership with a telecommunications client is seeking a Technical Product Owner for their Plano, TX location! This individual will be responsible for administrating the clients instance of Sensei Labs’ NEXT (Conductor) SaaS application. The candidate will act as liaison between the client and SaaS provider, ensuring application complies with the clients application management methods & procedures, including support and change management. This role sits within the Transformation Office and provides connection between the application, the Transformation Office, and the Business Units (“dig sites”) to ensure application allows for proper governance compliance, execution, tracking, and optimization of projects.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Liaison between SaaS provider (Sensei Labs) and the client for NEXT application.
• Ensure compliance with the clients’ application management processes (change management, support playbook, etc.)
• Focus on use case and end user experience.
• Technical background within application development.
• Provide feedback on tool and customization to the clients’ specific uses.
• Proactive and preemptive thought process on improvements.
• Provide actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports either inside the NEXT tool or supplemental to the NEXT tool.
• Work closely with various departments (Transformation Office, Finance, Data & Analytics, Business Units) to understand their needs and how the NEXT tool can meet their needs.
• Ideal candidate may have responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using the NEXT tool, Microsoft PowerBI, or Tableau.

Experience of the right candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in SaaS application ownership, administration, or digital product management.
• Experience with project portfolio management or digital transformation tools (e.g., Sensei Labs’ Conductor, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Strong understanding of IT governance, support models, and change management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
