Location: Rochester, NY (Remote in the Rochester, NY area and able to come on site biweekly for client and HR meetings)

What is a typical workday?

• Responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting- sourcing a strong pipeline of qualified candidates in addition to screening, scheduling, interviewing, and presenting and negotiating job offers to candidates. (Strong emphasis on sourcing) • Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensure quality of selection and timeliness of hire.

• Pre-screen potential candidates for full-time employee openings; assess candidates’ qualifications and culture fit through a combination of behavioral based interviews and competency-based evaluations. Interview prospective candidates on consistent set of qualifications and educate candidates on company. Submit qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.

• Prepare salary offers in collaboration with compensation specialists and HR Business Partner.

• Upholds legal requirements and company hiring policies, and coaches and guides managers accordingly.

• Proactive tracking of progress and all work in applicant tracking system to ensure metrics are captured and goals are met.

 

Must- Haves (Hard Skills)

• Engineering recruiting and sourcing background strongly preferred

• Use of Linkedin Recruiter/Indeed etc.

• Experience sourcing for cleared and non-cleared engineering and technical skills

• Full life cycle recruiting, manage candidates through the pipelines

• Manage relationships with managers and HRBPs

• Multi-site experience

• Technical and Engineering recruiting and sourcing

• Able to manage multi requisitions at a time (20-25+, at most 30 - 35)

• Experience with Excel and Outlook

• Strong Negotiation skills to align with offers for both managers and the candidate

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent area with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
