Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department in Charleston, SC. This critical role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a skilled team of technicians, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily service operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing expert guidance to technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Manage inventory, materials, and supplies to support efficient service operations.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to improve service efficiency and technician productivity.
  • Review and approve repair and installation estimates.
  • Track service metrics, manage budgets, and prepare reports for leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within the HVAC industry.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and repair processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in HVAC-related software, scheduling tools, and job tracking systems.
  • HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or HVAC/R certification strongly preferred.
