Position Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role that supports our mission to deliver high-quality automotive products on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with production goals and business growth in the automotive sector.
• Manage demand forecasting, material planning, and procurement for components, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Optimize inventory levels to support lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) practices.
• Drive cost reductions and operational improvements across the supply chain network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes, including inbound and outbound transportation.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams.
• Leverage data and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to monitor KPIs and enhance visibility across the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA or APICS/CSCP certification preferred).
• 7+ years of supply chain experience in the automotive industry, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, supplier management, and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, and quality systems (IATF 16949 preferred).
• Proficient in ERP and MRP systems relevant to the automotive space.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
