Business & Operations Analysis Greeley, Colorado Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The goal of this role is to map, track, and develop opportunities with our commercial teams and business categories. The aim is to better position our businesses across key verticals such as categories, product assortment, segments, customers, distribution, and pricing, thereby improving our competitive position. The role involves identifying new growth segments, building business plans in collaboration with partners, and closing gaps relative to competitors by analyzing point of sale and consumer data. Additionally, the role will focus on developing our consumer insights program, organizing processes, tools, routines, and collaborating with stakeholders to generate proactive insights. Leadership qualities, change management skills, and a result-oriented mindset are essential. Ability to build relationships with leaders across innovation, brand, category, and commerce teams, becoming a trusted advisor. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences. Ability to understand business dynamics, align with company objectives, and support strategic initiatives. Robust analytical background, capable of translating market data into actionable strategies. Well-connected with teams and stakeholders to monitor market movements and opportunities. Organized in managing projects, routines, and requests. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities and set priorities. Benchmark best practices, develop processes, tools, and define resource needs. Create a pipeline of market, category, and brand opportunities aligned with KPIs and goals. Serve as a trusted advisor in insights and development disciplines. Strategic Insights: Identify competitive positioning, monitor trends, forecast fundamentals, and support long-term roadmaps. Category Development: Understand category roles, drivers, consumer needs, and optimize marketing strategies. Capability Building: Assess and improve processes, routines, and stakeholder engagement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s in Psychology, Marketing, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field. Experience: 4-8 years in a corporate environment with expertise in category development and insights; familiarity with syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, etc.); 2 years in a consultative role. Skills: Leadership, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, organized, research-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience in CPG, agriculture, or animal protein industries preferred. Compensation & Benefits: Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, 401(k) match, salary range of $140,000 - $150,000, incentive bonus, and professional development opportunities.
