Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated web applications and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong bias for action, capable of driving success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Development Leadership : Spearhead the development and upkeep of complex web applications and enterprise systems utilizing TypeScript, Angular, and NodeJS.
  • Technology Strategy : Formulate strategies for modernizing core lending platform services using GraphQL and Kafka on AWS.
  • Design and Implementation : Exhibit boldness in advancing design and implementation decisions, providing principled feedback to peers and superiors.
  • Code Quality : Continuously improve code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Documentation : Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing : Develop automated tests and perform comprehensive testing to ensure high-quality software delivery each sprint.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and team members to contribute to the product development process, actively engage in discussions and development ceremonies, propose technical solutions, and translate them into functional software.
  • DevOps Integration : Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in the production environment.
  • Industry Awareness : Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance development processes and skills.
  • Proactive Approach : Maintain a proactive approach and a learning-by-doing mindset.
  • Adaptability : Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering, delivering high-quality, maintainable software.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern web application development technologies, including TypeScript, Angular, and NodeJS.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Innovates by leveraging industry-leading technology trends, best practices, design principles, patterns, and methods such as Agile software development, iterative delivery, and cloud computing.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex, enterprise-scale software solutions.
  • Effective critical thinking skills to reach conclusions and influence others.
  • Deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in delivering software solutions using Agile, lean, and iterative methods.
  • Experience in developing observable systems with robust metrics and alerts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A continuous learner who proactively assists others in their learning journey.
  • Preferred Experience : Experience with GraphQL
