Provides administrative leadership to support a broad range of initiatives for an interdisciplinary research center, tracking progress to ensure goals are achieved on time. Manage operations of the NewCourtland Center and activities associated with an institutional training grant, including organization of meetings, dissemination activities and proposal development. Monitor compliance across all Center activity, including regulatory approvals and sponsor guidelines. Job Responsibilities: 1) Provide administrative leadership to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of NCTH’s strategic agenda. Manage operations of the NewCourtland Center by overseeing day-to-day operations including supervision of undergraduate Center fellows and T32 trainees; coordinate and attend Scholars and NCTHH regular meetings, developing agendas and work plans, and conducting follow-up; develop and maintain professional contacts; ensure streamlined and standardized processes, eliminate redundancies, and ensure sound financial stewardship; develop systems and procedures to collect, analyze, and evaluate information on initiatives; promote visibility of research programs through communication strategies including website and social media. 2) Support the Center Director in advancing NCTH’s partnerships and communication regarding healthcare system redesign and policies; promote and coordinate efforts related to the Transitional Care Model; develop systems to collect and evaluate information; direct communication of priorities; draft reports; facilitate communications; coordinate special projects and events. 3) Coordinate the implementation of the NINR-funded NRSA program (T32NR009356): support recruitment of predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees; complete appointment and termination processes; organize and report program and trainee activity; monitor expenditures; draft annual reports. 4) Assure compliance across NCTH sponsored activity: communicate with IRB and research offices; track compliance with sponsor regulations; maintain knowledge of sponsored programs. 5) Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications: Master of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
