This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a successful territory of non-captive independent insurance agents who support the mission of Trusted Fraternal Life and drive sales of life insurance and annuity products. The RSD will proactively conduct recruiting to develop a team of producers while maintaining productive sales relationships with existing producers. The RSD will promote sales through wholesale, point of sale, and agent support efforts while managing travel and marketing budgets. Monitor and enforce sales compliance and regulatory rules, including licensing, educational requirements, E & O coverages, and additional requirements as needed. The RSD will regularly travel to meet with prospective and current independent agents to grow production and periodically travel to the Milwaukee, Wis. Home Office for meetings with Sales Management. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, be willing to travel, and support the mission, vision, and values of Trusted Fraternal Life. WHAT YOU’LL DO Work with the Director of Sales Distribution to develop and implement regional training, marketing, and sales strategies. Prospect, recruit, and onboard/train independent agents. Grow sales by leveraging multiple brands across all platforms: Catholic Financial Life, Degree of Honor, Woman’s Life, and Catholic United Financial. Manage and grow productive relationships with independent agents. Assist in designing and implementing marketing and sales campaigns for agents. Allocate travel and marketing budgets appropriately. QUALIFICATIONS Support the mission, vision, and values of Trusted Fraternal Life. 4+ years of life insurance and annuity sales experience. 2+ years of territory management, wholesaling, or recruiting/training experience. Life insurance licensed; ability to obtain licenses in all states within the territory (Securities license preferred). Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred. Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Experience with illustration software and electronic applications. Quick learner of proprietary software. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Strong sales and recruiting skills, proactive, able to prioritize work, and work well in a team environment. WHAT WE OFFER Base salary plus overrides and bonuses.
