Job Title: Private Equity Associate - Healthcare

Description:
The Private Equity Associate will support a North Carolina-based firm in sourcing, evaluating, and managing healthcare investments. Responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio support. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with a strong interest in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct industry research and identify attractive investment opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
• Participate in all aspects of the transaction process, including due diligence, deal structuring, and execution.
• Support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives, performance tracking, and value creation efforts.
• Prepare investment memos and present findings to the investment committee.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to healthcare.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
