MassBayCommunity College seeks a qualified part-time Phlebotomy LearningSpecialist/Lab Assistant beginning summer 2024 and future semesters. The idealcandidate will demonstrate a passion forteaching and promoting success among a diverse student population. ThePhlebotomy Learning Specialist/Lab Assistant assists in skill development inthe lab setting. The Phlebotomy Learning Specialist/Lab Assistant assists inteaching students and this role prepares them for clinicals. This includesassisting to ensure student health documents are sufficient to start theprogram. The learning specialist must have phlebotomy teaching and clinicalexperience, communicate effectively, and be able to assess studentsobjectively, and work as part of a team. The instructor has obtainedappropriate certification where applicable and has earned appropriate educationin the field of Phlebotomy or higher. Opportunities exist for working with other clinical-based programsdepending on the candidate's additional clinical certifications.

Lab is paid hourly:Learning Specialist: $48.35/hr.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in requireddiscipline, or closely related field; with one (1) year experience and/ortraining that includes teaching, instructional technology or programdevelopment; or an equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience.
