Job Summary: 

This is a full-time on-site role for a Painter/Cerakote Applicator at C&B Quality Coatings, located in Savannah, GA and will transition to Statesboro, GA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Painter/Cerakote Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts using Cerakote ceramic coatings to ensure a durable and high-quality finish. Experience with spray equipment, surface preparation, and an eye for precision is essential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Prepare metal, plastic, and other surfaces by sandblasting, cleaning, and degreasing.

● Mix Cerakote coatings according to manufacturer specifications. 

● Apply coatings using HVLP spray equipment or other application tools. 

● Ensure consistent finish and coverage, free from runs, drips, or defects. 

● Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy. 

● Maintain and clean application equipment and spray booth. 

● Follow all safety and environmental regulations. 

● Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used. 

● Collaborate with production and quality control teams.

Requirements: 

● High school diploma or GED (trade school or related certification a plus).

● Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. 

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team on-site in Savannah, GA/Statesboro,GA

Preferred Skills: 

● 1+ years of experience with Cerakote or other coating systems preferred. 

● Knowledge of surface preparation techniques (sandblasting, masking, etc.). 

● Familiarity with HVLP spray guns and proper spraying techniques. 

● Experience with Cerakote Elite, H-Series, or C-Series. 

● Cerakote certification is a plus but not required. 

● Artistic or custom design experience (patterns, stencils, camo, etc.). 

● Ability to read work orders and follow technical instructions.

Note: This position involves working with firearms. Applicants should be comfortable handling, prepping, and coating firearm parts in a safe and respectful manner. Familiarity with firearm components is a plus, but not required. All work is performed in compliance with applicable safety regulations and company protocols.
