Our client is seeking a Metal Former, Thermoformer, and Screenprinter to perform finishing operations according to specifications outlined on job orders in the Manchester, NH area!
This role includes tasks such as deburring, hand grinding, polishing, sandblasting, and operating tumblers in a timely and efficient manner. The position emphasizes Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Innovation in all work performed.
This is a direct hire opportunity.
Shift: 2nd shift schedule Mon-Fri 2PM-10PM
Pay:$20/hr + 10% shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Perform finishing operations, including deburring, hand grinding, polishing, and breaking edges.
• Operate sandblasting equipment (blast cabinet), selecting appropriate blasting media for each operation.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure surface finishes meet specifications and blueprint requirements.
• Set up and operate finishing equipment, ensuring correct use for proper results.
• Obtain Production Approval (PA) when required by job router or work order.
• Count and verify parts before and after each operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Actively participate in 5S daily operator checklist responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by production supervisor to meet production goals.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
• Experience with hand tools, sanders, and grinders preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring equipment accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions under supervision.
• Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate quality concerns with team members.
• Ability to follow safety policies and report unsafe activities.
• Capable of meeting production and attendance requirements.
• Team-oriented with respectful communication skills.
