We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including but not limited to security systems, fire alarms, networking, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems. This role requires basic technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security alarms, intercoms, and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete installations on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
