Lead Industrial Electrician / Working Foreman - Heavy Industry Projects

We’re partnering with an engineering-led firm that punches well above its weight in the industrial space. From drive system overhauls to full-scale electrical builds in paper mills, mining, and cement, this team takes on the kind of work most companies shy away from.

They’re looking for a hands-on foreman to lead crews of 2–8 electricians on-site, guide installs, and ensure projects are executed to a high technical standard.

The Work

• Lead industrial installation projects in heavy industry environments
• Manage and guide your crew day-to-day on client sites
• Interpret Rockwell and Siemens drawings, build material lists, and oversee ordering
• Install and troubleshoot ControlLogix systems, large motors (300+ HP), and MV drives
• Own quality, safety, and deadlines from pre-mobilization through commissioning
• Collaborate directly with engineers to solve problems and refine execution
  
  

About You

• You’ve led teams on major industrial projects before
• You can build a material list from a set of schematics without blinking
• You’re fluent in tray, conduit, and medium voltage and not afraid to get your hands dirty
• You understand how to install drive systems properly, not just wire them
• Spanish skills are a plus (you’ll often coordinate with bilingual crews)
• You’re open to 80% travel (up to 3 weeks at a time) across the Southeast and beyond
