J-IMPACT Social Media Internship (Paid)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Duration: June 20th - July 6th, 2025

Compensation: $500 Stipend

About the Position

Join an outstanding cohort of students for an immersive two-week program connecting you with prominent Jewish business leaders across industries. As our Social Media Intern, you'll capture and share the wisdom, insights, and stories of these executives while developing your own professional network and digital marketing skills.

The Experience

  • Direct Access to Leaders: Personal interactions with C-suite executives from finance, tech, media, and more
  • Community Connection: Form meaningful relationships with both senior professionals and ambitious peers
  • Portfolio Building: Collaborate with fellow interns to transform takeaways into a professional social media campaign that showcases your creative vision and strategic thinking - with the opportunity to receive direct feedback from business leaders

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Craft engaging posts across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) that bring executive insights to life
  • Live Event Coverage: Document executive talks, Q&A sessions, and networking events in real-time
  • Interview Leadership: Conduct brief video interviews with business leaders about their career journeys and values
  • Analytics & Strategy: Track engagement metrics and adjust content approach based on audience response
  • Visual Storytelling: Capture professional photography and video content suitable for both social media and program archives

Ideal Candidates

  • Current undergraduate students or recent graduates 
  • Demonstrated interest in business, leadership, and Jewish ethics
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
  • Full availability for the entire program (June 20-July 6)
  • Ambition to leverage career to make a positive impact on the world
