SaaS Sales Executive – Insurance Vertical JN -052025-160331

Our client, a growing insurtech, is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive with expertise in the insurance industry to join their team. This role focuses on driving new business and expanding existing relationships by selling SaaS solutions to insurance companies, including carriers, brokers, MGAs, and wholesalers.

The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge to understand client challenges and position software as a strategic solution. Requirements include a strong background in B2B SaaS sales within the insurance sector, a proven sales record, and the ability to build lasting relationships with decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SaaS sales, with 2+ years in insurance industry sales
  • Deep understanding of insurance challenges, regulations, and operations
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Strong consultative selling skills targeting C-level executives and professionals
  • Technical aptitude to explain complex solutions and integrations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven in a remote, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business with insurance industry clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand and address client needs
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulations, and technological developments
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams
  • Manage full sales cycle using CRM tools
  • Develop deep product knowledge to communicate value effectively
