Life Planning Partners, Inc. is a nationally known boutique fee only financial planning firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for a full-time administrative assistant.

• You have a good personality and it shows in how you greet people and answer the phone.
• You have good computer skills and would be happy scanning, filing, entering data, requesting client information, and processing client requests.
• You like helping people and being a problem solver.
• You like working with fun people in a hybrid work environment – two days a week remote, three days a week in the office after an initial training period.

Our ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:

• A high-school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in an office environment
• A background in the insurance industry is a huge plus
• Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Good attention to detail
• Warm personality and you are comfortable asking questions and learning new skills

What you will be doing:

• You will assist in gathering information for us to complete our client’s financial plans.
• You will help shop for car, home, and umbrella insurance policies when needed. We do not sell insurance, but act as an advocate to help our clients find insurance.
• You will assist in filling out client forms and other paperwork.
• You will learn how to use our client financial aggregation tools so you can assist the planners in keeping clients organized.
• You will help with computer-based document filing.
• You will keep office supplies stocked and make sure the office looks tidy for client visits.
• You will help answer the phones and direct calls to the appropriate party.
