We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the education industry located in Williamsburg, Virginia, for an entry-level Financial Analyst. This role will have you working in a university setting, where you will be expected to manage a broad range of financial data controls, review security roles, and use ERP experience and various skills to update policies and procedures. This is a part time based role, totaling roughly 20-25 hours per week:

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the financial data controls within the organization

• Conduct regular security role reviews to ensure system integrity

• Utilize your experience with Workday and other ERP systems to streamline financial processes

• Maintain the chart of accounts ensuring accuracy and relevance

• Apply your knowledge of accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports in day-to-day tasks

• Implement data mining techniques to analyze financial data and inform decision-making processes

• Update organizational policies and procedures as required

• Carry out various accounting functions, including accrual accounting

• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance

• Engage in budget processes and capital management to ensure financial sustainability.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is crucial
• Experience in ADP - Financial Services is highly advantageous
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is necessary
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is beneficial
• Understanding of Data Mining Techniques is desirable
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively
• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is required
• Experience or understanding of Auditing procedures
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Knowledge of Capital Management is beneficial
