Job Title: Export Specialist, Distribution CoordinatorJob Description
This entry-level coordinator position serves as the primary liaison with distributors, ensuring the highest levels of service and parts availability for export customers. It involves maintaining on-time delivery, shipment integrity, and supporting the reduction of backorders. The role requires collaboration with internal groups to meet customer service expectations and participation in efforts to improve service levels and manage backorders.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the main contact for assigned export customers, collaborating with multiple departments to set up part numbers and gather ETA information.
+ Submit orders and support shipping compliant parts to various markets.
+ Provide customer forecasts and oversee the W37 forecasting program.
+ Support New Model activities and coordinate quality claims processing.
+ Ensure overall Export Service Level, W37 forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery for assigned customers.
+ Conduct periodic video conferences with customers and prepare monthly management reports.
+ Handle special projects and potentially travel to meet with top customers.
+ Conduct monthly video conference calls, visits, and research to analyze ETA's.
+ Coordinate orders and daily communications to understand customer market situations.
+ Work with internal departments to expedite and address customer regulatory requirements.
+ Manage Export BO and CBO reduction, release, and recovery.
+ Collaborate with Parts Centers and Export Parts Logistics team to ensure timely shipments.
Essential Skills
+ BA/BS degree in Business or equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in export customer service or a related field.
+ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excel, Access, Power Point, Word.
+ Proficiency in SAP Business Intelligence (Business Objects) reporting.
+ Experience in international business is beneficial.
+ Basic understanding of Parts Business and Operations.
+ Strong planning, organizing, communication, and informing skills.
Work Environment
The position requires an 8-hour day shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During the initial training period of up to six months, the role will be 100% in-office. After training, the work environment will be 80% in-office and 20% remote.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.90 - $27.90/hr.
