About the Role

The Email/CRM Specialist is a pivotal member of the marketing team, responsible for designing and executing email marketing strategies and leveraging HubSpot to engage and grow our target audiences. Reporting to the Integrated Marketing Manager, this role focuses on creating compelling email content, managing campaigns, optimizing CRM workflows, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in channel sales outreach. The specialist will target key groups such as bathing wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, and architects, collaborating with the marketing team to align with the broader marketing strategy for wholesale sales channels. This position demands a proactive approach to spotting industry trends, streamlining processes, and delivering actionable insights to drive engagement, conversions, and sales team effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience in email marketing and CRM management, with at least 2 years of advanced proficiency in HubSpot. Experience in commercial bathware, construction, or home improvement industries is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the preferences and behaviors of target audiences (wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, architects) and channel sales dynamics is highly valuable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of HubSpot (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Commerce Hub) for campaign automation, workflow optimization, and sales pipeline management, paired with familiarity with other tools like Google Analytics for performance tracking.

  • HubSpot Expertise: Advanced proficiency in HubSpot, including designing and automating email campaigns, building workflows, managing contact databases, and optimizing sales pipelines. Skilled in using HubSpot’s reporting tools to track performance and identify inefficiencies.
  • Email Marketing Proficiency: Adept at creating segmented, personalized email campaigns with A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Experienced in developing newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences tailored to B2B audiences.
  • Channel Sales Optimization: Ability to analyze channel sales outreach processes, identify gaps, and propose data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency, such as streamlined lead nurturing or automated follow-up sequences.
  • Content Creation: Exceptional copywriting skills to produce engaging, on-brand email content that resonates with target audiences and supports sales objectives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess performance data (e.g., email metrics, sales funnel conversion rates) and provide actionable recommendations for campaign and process optimization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with the Integrated Marketing Manager, sales teams, and creative services lead, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales goals.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing multiple email campaigns and CRM initiatives, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • HubSpot Campaign Management: Proven success in leveraging HubSpot to design and execute email marketing campaigns and CRM workflows that drive engagement, lead nurturing, and conversions, particularly in B2B or wholesale settings.
  • Channel Sales Outreach Optimization: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements in channel sales outreach, such as automating lead scoring, optimizing follow-up cadences, or integrating sales and marketing data to enhance efficiency.
  • Email Marketing Execution: Extensive experience managing email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences, with a focus on improving key performance metrics and supporting sales objectives.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Skilled in using HubSpot’s analytics and other tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor campaign results, conduct A/B testing, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Proactive in staying current with the latest email marketing, CRM, and HubSpot trends, tools, and best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance campaign performance and sales outreach efficiency.
