About The Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales, North America to lead and grow our software sales efforts in North America. This personwill play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and expanding our customer base. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in enterprise software sales, particularly in the data or SaaS space. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. You Will Need Experience With Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team across North America, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals, expand market share, and meet business objectives. Revenue Growth: Drive consistent pipeline growth through effective team management, forecasting, and execution of go-to-market strategies. Customer Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key enterprise customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Team Development: Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent while promoting professional development and career growth within the team. Coaching & Development : Proven ability to inspire and lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration: Work closely with senior sales leadership, enablement, marketing, customer success, and product teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals. Ideally You Would Have 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role. Experience in the data engineering, analytics, or SaaS space is a must. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets and leading large, geographically dispersed sales teams. Proven ability to inspire and lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced environment Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operational priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs. Proficiency in sales forecasting (using tools like Clari), CRM tools (such as Salesforce), and data-driven decision-making.
