Overview JOB TITLE: Copy Editor III

LOCATION: REMOTE

Job description We\'re seeking a skilled Brand AI Copy Editor who can blend traditional copywriting excellence with modern AI tools to maintain our brand voice while scaling content production efficiently. The most effective brand copyeditors balance technical precision with creative sensibility, acting as both guardians of brand standards and champions of engaging, impactful communication. Key Responsibilities Maintain the brand style, tone and voice in existing enterprise tools like Grammarly, Perplexity, Glean and others to enable all employees to understand and apply our brand style in their writing. Review AI-generated content to ensure brand alignment and quality standards. Share feedback with the tool provider and use available brand customization features to adjust the quality of output so it aligns with our brand voice. Train team members on effective AI tool usage while preserving brand integrity Oversee AI-powered content generation workflows, providing expert guidance on prompting strategies Enforce brand style guides and editorial standards to maintain consistency in all AI-generated content. You\'ll be the human-in-the-loop. Check for factual accuracy and clarity in all AI-generated content Provide constructive feedback to AI agents, writers and engineers to improve the quality of content output by AI content generation tools Manage approval processes for content publication generated by AI tools Stay current on industry trends and evolving language standards to keep brand guidance in our AI tools relevant Craft original copy to fill in gaps for comprehension, clarity and readability, for example, missing subheadings, missing metadata, unclear calls-to-action, or copy that is unclear Collaborate with marketing, design, and product marketing teams to review and refine marketing copy to ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all channels Correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors while preserving the intended style and flow Develop and maintain brand style guides and content standards About the team You will be a part of the Corporate Marketing team and will play an important role in sharing our brand story with customers, followers and the broader data and AI community. What we\'ll look for 5+ years of experience in copywriting and/or copy editing, preferably in an enterprise brand or agency setting Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail Understanding and familiarity with copy editing tools (Grammarly, etc.) and how to enable content consistency at scale Understanding of AI content generation tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and their capabilities Experience developing and maintaining style guides and editorial guidelines Ability to maintain brand consistency across diverse content types and channels Bachelor\'s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with content management systems and marketing workflow tools (Asana, Jira, Drupal, Patel, Figma, etc.) Understanding of metadata, SEO best practices and content optimization Project management experience in fast-paced creative environments Familiarity with design software and basic visual content creation Benefits BENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
