Commercial Construction Superintendent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead the field operations for large-scale ground-up commercial projects in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing healthcare and education projects , ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve field challenges.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress to meet deadlines and financial goals.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects .
• Proven experience managing healthcare and education construction projects preferred.
• Experience with projects $20M+ in budget .
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, construction management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
