Registered Nurse (Correctional Facility) At Finger Lakes R.C. in Lansing, NY, you’ll thrive in a supportive environment dedicated to youth health and rehabilitation. As a Registered Nurse specializing in correctional care, you’ll play a vital role in medication administration, health assessments, and collaborative treatment planning from Friday to Monday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Qualifications: Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York State. 1 Year of Med Surg experience Friday – Monday 5:30a-2p Hours: On site .30 minute unpaid lunch Holiday OT required. Free Parking Provided Job Duties: Job duties include, but may not be limited to: maintaining general medical inventory (including controlled substances); conducting medication administration; reviewing the overall health conditions of youth (i.e. preparing, reviewing and evaluating nursing intervention plans); ensuring that interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans; participating in staff trainings; preparing required clinical and administrative reports; maintain infection control standards; and, serve as a member of the facility's medical treatment team.
