Location: Sigourney, Iowa

At Sinclair Tractor, we pride ourselves on being the destination in Southeast Iowa for agricultural equipment, precision farming, agronomic decision support, NAPA parts and supplies. With thirteen John Deere dealerships, five NAPA parts locations and a Supply Store, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join our team.

Purpose:

Process accounts receivable activities, which includes maintaining customer accounts, reconciling account receivable general ledger accounts, and processing customer statements on behalf of all dealership locations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Accurately maintains customer accounts receivable records including tax affidavits, applies customer payments, and makes changes to customer information
• Answers and resolves questions regarding customer accounts
• Reconciles accounts receivable general ledger accounts which includes identifying discrepancies and determining corrective action
• Completes monthly A/R statement process by applying finance charges, saving copies of customer statements, and completing month-end roll-forward purge
• Monitors aged accounts and submits information to collection
• Post DCP, JDFRP, and E-Comm payments to Equip
• Assesses and provides notification of compliance issues with the dealership's credit policies
• Prepares various accounting reports such as aged accounts receivable
• Prepares, mails/e-mails, and reconciles customer statements
• Cash Management, AR & AP liaison for Sigourney location
• Assists other co-workers with related tasks as necessary

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Strong time management skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions & Requirements:

• Office setting
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to frequently sit and stand.
• Travel as needed.
