Description

We are currently seeking an Account Partner Director to join our growing Professional Services Public Sector sales team within Customer Success Group (CSG). As a key member of the GTM and Professional Services Team, you will establish relationships with our license sales and extended functional teams (such as product, success managers, creative teams, legal, delivery, and more) to understand, evaluate, and strategically advise our internal teams and customers on programs to achieve their goals. You will be responsible for deal origination, strategy, and execution, supported by our delivery organization. This role primarily focuses on DHS (Department of Homeland Security) along with other customers as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic, enterprise-level strategies for high-profile customers
  • Facilitate qualification, deal cycle participation, account reviews, and value assessments
  • Build awareness within micro-verticals to develop repeatable processes
  • Ensure smooth transition and partnership with our delivery team, including margins, staffing, and Salesforce methodology
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, leader, and consultant to our license sales teams
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in a consulting environment
  • At least 6+ years managing a book of business within the Public Sector - FedCiv industry
  • Experience with customers such as DHS is highly preferred
  • Proven success in executive-level sales, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Experience in Net New sales and Renewals, including greenfield accounts
  • Skilled in strategic motion, value propositions, planning, teaming, and outcome-based engagements
  • Experience in consulting services, either with a systems integrator or product organization (preferred)
  • Experience delivering critical initiatives or programs in a firm-based or product company (preferred)
  • Ability to develop assets from scratch, including marketing, sales, and strategy solutions
  • Comfort working with C-Suite during strategic cycles, including workshops (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating pricing and deal strategies with global procurement leads
  • Experience working with federal agencies such as DHS, DOJ, USDA, IRS
  • Strong network within Federal Civilian sales, especially services sales
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed

Location: Greater Washington DC Metro Area

Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. soil, able to meet government screening standards, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan. Citizenship verification is required due to federal government customer support.
